2 or 3 heavy garbage bags for the trip across the lake and dirty clothes
A post card or two with stamps
A headlight or flashlight, with new batteries
A canteen or water bottle
A summer sleeping bag and sleeping pad
A notebook and pen
A camera is always good to bring
Clothes--pack enough but don’t over pack. Most Scouts won’t change clothes daily
Swim suit
Two towels, one for swimming, one for showering-- (hopefully)
Some Scouts buy sandals or reef runners to wear back and forth to the beach
Rain gear
Extra shoes and socks or sneakers
Scout handbook is considered part of the uniform and needs to be with the Scout
Class “A” uniform worn to supper daily and all day Sunday consists of: A) Scout shirt with green shoulder epilates B) Scout shorts C) Scout crewsocks (2 pair) D) Scout belt E) Troop 66 neckerchief with slide F) Red beret
Class ”B” uniform to be worm at breakfast and lunch daily consists of: (A) Troop 66 tye dye tee shirt (B) Scout shorts
Money: $30 to $50 is recommended to cover cost of supplies for some merit badges and misc. stuff from the trading post.
